Contemporary Visual Observation(s) for NGC 2170
NGC 2170 = LBN 994 = vdB 67 = Ced 63 = RAFGL 877 06 07 31.8 -06 23 57 Size 2x2 13.1": fairly bright nebulosity surrounds mag 9.5 SAO 132861. Also a star 8' ENE is slightly nebulous (vdB 69). This is the brightest and westermost in a group of reflection nebulae. - by Steve Gottlieb
